I am the Founder and CEO of Foot Balance Technology and OrthoGenix, two creative business models that provide pedorthic services and medical devices to clients with various foot problems and conditions through primary and allied health clinics both Nationally and Internationally. As a certified pedorthist custom maker and the first PhD in the pedorthics field in Australia, I have over 14 years of experience in lower limb biomechanics, gait assessment, foot problem diagnosis, and design and manufacture of foot orthoses, ankle foot orthoses, and custom orthopedic footwear.I am also passionate about applying digital health technology and artificial intelligence to improve foot health outcomes and prevent foot complications, especially for people with diabetes and other chronic conditions. I am involved in several research projects with a number of Australian Universities and publications on footwear and insole design, pressure mapping technology, and mHealth solutions. My mission is to innovate and deliver cost-effective, evidence-based, patient-centric health care and medical devices to diabetic feet and other high-risk foot populations.
