Senior Buyer - Contract EngineerTatweer Petroleum> Responsible in full control of the required project materials from online tendering, commercial evaluation & negotiations, coordination to proponents prior to technical evaluation, Purchase Order creation ‘til final bid awarding. > Ensures all purchases of materials be undertaken in the most effective manner and economically advantageous to the Company and in accordance to the Company’s Code of Business Conduct.> Conducts Bid Strategy and Award presentation to the Top Management prior to approval of High Value Tender. > Ensures materials arrived on time and that all supplied materials complies with the Company’s QC standards. > Helps facilitate, analyze and resolve Invoice Matching Issues with the Finance Department prior to PO Payment Closing in the Oracle System. > Deals directly with Company’s Legal Team to discuss and resolve Vendors exceptions and deviations to the Company’s PO & Contract’s Standard Terms & Conditions. > Provides constant update to the proponent / end user for the current delivery status of the required materials as well as potential delays that might faced along the delivery process. > Coordinates with each discipline for the drawing / material specifications required in their material requisition as well as with the warehouse for advance information for the incoming deliveries of materials prior to receiving preparations and inspection endorsement to QC. > Attends meetings, exhibits & negotiates biddings prior to outsourcing the best possible vendor, offering good quality products at better prices. > Prepares & Strategize contract negotiations for special projects mainly on Drilling, Production & Facilities. > Helps train the locals to improve their negotiation skills and better understand their role as a buyer and future contract engineers. > Prepares Procurement Status Report, Payment Request and Invoice reconciliation with Accounts.
