-Leading a team of 5-6 personnel; planning and executing monthly/ quarterly/ annual closure schedules; providing monthly financial statements; administering the monthly closing process -Assuring timely revenue recognition and debtor collection at line items -Developing an annual circle - wise + month-wise budget with risk and opportunity -Supervising entire functions of taxation including ailments of benefits, timely compliance for payment & returns for Income Tax, Sales Tax, Excise, TDS, other taxes and related assessment & appeal; developing tax strategies -Advising management on: * Tax implications of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the state government *Structuring of various contracts including Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) contracts *Transfer pricing implications of various transactions with related parties * Study of Value-Added Tax (VAT) laws of states in which contracts were proposed to be executed by the company - Engaging in Tax Data Preparation for Advance Tax, Cash Flow Preparation, Monthly Closing Activity, and Fixed Expense Provision, Fixed Expenses Analysis -Ensuring reclassification and accounting of wrong or unaccounted entries prior to closure of the General Ledger -Explaining weekly profit & loss projections; establishing product line profit & loss statements to identify opportunities and risks -Analyzing & ensuring project financing are meeting the covenants to ensure that project pay-back is matched with the forecasts; working on Preparation of Guarantees and supporting documents for credit facilities such as Overdraft, Loans, Limits, and so on -Driving the remittance process like Payments of Bills under LC/Collections, Advance Payment against Direct Imports, Payment against Services, Import/ Export Bills Realization, and more -Working on the preparation of Budget & reporting the performance at regular intervals; maintaining accounts as per local statutory purpose & IFRS -Preparing and presenting weekly and monthly management reports on cost and benefit analysis, productivity analysis, inventory turnover analysis and cost variance analysis -Maintaining fixed assets; streamlining reports, filing returns for fixed assets, managing site wise capitalization and provision, undertaking physical verification of assets and ensuring that all assets were insured at the correct value- Supervising the annual audit and coordinating audit schedules v Reviewing financial results; undertaking year-on-year and quarterly comparison of company performance both in terms of the top line and bottom line
