• Monitor and analyze 24x7 SOC events to detect, prevent, and respond to intrusion attempts.• Implement and manage security solutions such as Firewalls (Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Fortinet), DLP,Antivirus, IPS, and Email Security.• Perform real-time event monitoring and correlation through SIEM tools such as IBM QRadar,Azure Sentinel.• Investigate and respond to alerts from multiple log sources including Proxy, Antivirus, and EDR, withdeep-dive investigations using Sentinel One EDR.• Analyze and respond to infrastructure vulnerabilities and threats, including Phishing and Spam EmailAnalysis.• Investigate security logs, develop mitigation strategies, and prepare comprehensive security incidentand Root Cause Analysis (RCA) reports.• Utilize strong knowledge of Intrusion Detection (deep TCP/IP understanding), and experience withIDS/IPS, firewalls, and various operating systems (Windows/Linux) for cybersecurity measures.• Monitor packet-level data to detect and prevent intrusions, ensuring robust network security.• Conduct Website Anti-Malware and Defacement monitoring, delivering real-time alerts for anomalydetection.• Serve as the first point of contact for security issues, coordinating rapid responses to security incidentsand breaches.• Monitor and analyze SIEM alerts, raising security incidents in the Ticketing tool (ManageEngine), andensuring thorough follow-up.• Investigate data leaks and security violations using MacAfee DLP, monitoring for network and systemanomalies.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the organization’s overall security posture anddrive continuous improvement.
