The Information Resource Centers are part of the Public Affairs Section of the American Embassy and offers Afghans educational programs and scholarship Opportunities Information Resource Centers – 2,000 educational events with 1M participants Supervised one of the 4 teams of 6 instructors located at 23 sites in 21 provinces Additional duties: Conducted over 90 educational events on time and always under budget Developed province specific educational and cultural programs (4 sites) Prepared/delivered syllabuses/reference materials to students in advance Exceeded manager’s expectations with enthusiastic student participation Maintained and submitted well-documented timely administrative reports Provided leadership, direction, motivation, and support to team members Volunteered time and experience to help other supervisors and instructors Planned and scheduled conferences, meetings, and online virtual learning Introduced and managed U.S. Department of State IIP Speakers’ Program Solicited and reviewed recommendations for employee appreciation awards
