Summary:A Regional immigration expert who advice a regional immigration team, Multiple business functions as well as external stakeholders on compliance requirements pertaining to Granite's immigration policies and procedures. The Immigration Professional consults frequently with visa agencies, Legal Counsel, Consulate/Government officers and Immigration attorneys to handle daily activities and provide support to all segments and countries within the region.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:• Serve as a point of escalation for complex immigration issues and provide creative solutions.• Ensure compliance with country specific immigration requirements are met including applications for immigration and visa are being completed accurately and in a timely manner.• Partner with stakeholders and colleagues to identify work permit visa and residency requirements and propose alternative strategies when routine solutions are unavailable.• Establish and maintain internal policies and procedures in compliance with the immigration regulations both within and outside the region.• Manage the local relationships, performances, and procedures in evaluations of internal and external vendors to ensure a clear understanding of the company's needs and individuals and groups on immigration related policies and procedures.• Work with managers to ensure PO and other finance processes are in place when needed to obtain appropriate billing numbers for invoices and determine whether the charge is billable or non-billable.• Operate as a thought leader and proactively work with the immigration and business leaders to identify compliant business solutions when entering new jurisdictions and business sectors.• Coordinate with third parties regarding documentation needs (country specific)• Communicate with various government agencies for certification legalization, translation, etc. of documents.• Maintain immigration files for employees on foreign assignments.

▪ Supports /Contributes to providing standard HR services by processing transactions in line withcompany regulations and guidelines for a specific HRS service lines.▪ Maintenance of employee master data, contract data▪ Preparation of contracts and service-/product related documents.▪ Management of personal data: contractual changes; time & attendance data, etc.▪ Archiving Personnel Documents▪ Issuing employee certificates, Letter of Reference▪ Maintenance of organizational structure data and organizational changes▪ Consulting and Support for HR Admin Services▪ Visa issuance for Siemens Employees and Customers.▪ Update of the Visa Center Data and supervising the Visa and work permit Tool▪ Provide sector-wide consultations to CPD Delegates, respective Managers and internaldepartment on case-specific topics throughout the CPD assignment (Pre-/On-Delegation,Repatriation).▪ Issuance and Renewal of short and temporary Work Permits for Expatriates.
