I have been in education for more than 20 years. I have taught at all levels ranging from four year old children to adults. I have been a leader in my field becoming the first National Board Certified teacher in my district and then mentoring others to the same certification. I taught with Great Expectations, a school reform model founded on Northeastern State University's campus in Tahlequah, for several years before seeking my Master's degree in Administration and Supervision. For the past six years I have served my community as the junior/senior high school principal. The job of principal encompasses a wide range of responsibilities from master schedules, transcript analysis, and state reports to conflict resolution, staff development/training, and observations and evaluations.
