A leader of dynamic teams in the field of urban planning, I oversaw a diverse range of projects centered on land use, zoning, and transportation. These projects encompassed Long Range Plans, Corridor Studies, Area Plans, Zoning Analysis/Updates, Overlay Districts, Revitalization Studies, Complete Streets Plans, Bicycle and Pedestrian Safety Studies, Vehicular Safety Studies, Housing Studies/Market Analysis, and Capital Planning.

Within the Asset Management Division, responsible for program management, project management, and facilities management for all structures at the busiest and most efficient airport in the world, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. Responsibilities included buildings, bridges, roadways, and other support structures. This included tenant occupied buildings and Department of Aviation structures and properties. Ensured that assigned projects are properly planned, designed, and implemented in compliance with approved scope, schedule, and budget; ensured that all airport facilities operated within federal, state, and local regulations and complied with standards relating to building codes, safety codes, and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities covered all areas of construction projects including but not limited to new construction, remodeling/tenant improvement projects and/or other approved projects such as Capital Improvement and Building Maintenance projects. Managed multiple small to large projects at one time, managing each project budget typically ranging from $30,000.00 to $2,000,000.00+.

Supervised Denver Zoning Code and Denver Revised Municipal Code regulatory edits and rewrites, and assess zoning map amendments for residential, commercial, mixed-use, and industrial properties. Partnered with interdisciplinary teams and stakeholders to create goals, objectives, and policies for neighborhood plans and urban design projects. Conducted research and analyzed data for map amendments and rezoning, and support design standards and guidelines. Developed illustrations, graphics, draft text, maps, and reports for planning projects and administered presentations to neighborhood organizations, community groups, upper-level management, Planning Board, and City Council.
