About Sayre Nyce

I'm part of a team at the U.S. Department of State that is working on the Welcome Corps, a new program that enables Americans to sponsor refugees. I am passionate about the economic and social empowerment of refugees and other populations in need of protection. My work has focused on process improvement and systemic change, often through building innovative tools or partnerships. I was the founding Executive Director of Talent Beyond Boundaries (TBB), a non-profit organization that opened new migration pathways for refugees to move with jobs to countries where their skills are needed. My work with the UN and NGOs has led to concrete improvements in the protection and assistance of refugees in various parts of Africa, Asia, the Middle East, as well as resettlement destination countries.
