Saša Borko Grgič began her diplomatic career at the Slovenian foreign ministry's EU department and the Slovenian Permanent Representation to the EU in Brussels, where she oversaw several external relations working groups in the EU Council.In 2005, she joined the European Commission's DG Environment and later DG Humanitarian Affairs and Crisis Management, where she served as a policy officer, contributing significantly to external relations and interinstitutional aspects of crisis management and civil protection mechanisms.In 2010, Saša joined ACER, playing a vital role in the Agency's establishment as the former Assistant to the Director. She currently serves as the Policy Coordinator in the Strategy Delivery and Communication team.Saša holds a degree in International Relations from the University of Ljubljana, a Master's degree in EU Administrative Studies from the College of Europe in Brugge, Belgium, and a diploma from the London School of Public Relations of Slovenia. She is the mother of three sons.
