Simulating viscous and visco-elastic fluid flows in OpenFOAM. Development of a newviscoelastic two-phase solver for OpenFOAM, comparison of the solver’s results with otherresearch papers and experimental results. The code allows the user to simulate variousviscoleastic fluid flows with a surface in contact with another fluid (i.e. air). The simulationswere partly conducted using a cluster on the in-house super-computer.ink-jet flow.

Simulating electromagnetic tests (NDT) using COMSOL Multiphysics (use of FEM). Thesimulations were used to verify the computational results by comparing them with experimentalresults.Fluid flow simulations through a pipe using OpenFOAM to figure out particle trajectorieswithin the piping in order to evaluate where potential piping-damage could occur.
