Fundraising , Development & Fiscal Oversight:- Develop diversified fundraising plan to pursue a variety of funding sources for the organization;- Work with existing funders to ensure continued support;- Expand corporate giving opportunities;- Enhance individual giving program;- In November 2020 the organization hosted a 4th annual gala in celebration raised over $56,000 and surpassing the goal by 145%.- Proactively work to obtain federal funding opportunities;- Conceive and write grant proposals;- Develop and create systems to streamline work and save resources;- Oversee financial management of the organization’s resources.Strategic Planning & Leadership- Maintain an effective working relationship with the Board of Directors;- Hire, supervise, train and evaluate all staff;- Oversee and collaborate with staff regarding the planning, evaluation and administration of programs;- Oversee and collaborate with staff on curriculum writing.Community and Public Partnerships- Work closely with local government officials to enhance financial and other support;- Serve as the organization's chief liaison and spokesperson to the community;- Participate in community coalitions, alliances and networks;- Promote the Community Bridges' model of youth empowerment to the community at large, including the media;- Use leadership skills and the expertise of Community Bridges to influence the resolution of issues that impact girls in Montgomery County and region.- Serve on the Nonprofit Montgomery DHHS Advisory Committee.- Served on the County Executive Marc Elrich Transition Team for Youth and Families.

- Manage an annual budget of over $500,000 and have reduced expenses by over 50% without reducing services to members.- Supervise 6 staff members with a diverse set of expertise including linguistic outreach, The Young Leaders program, and inclusion. Set goals for each staff and program. The Inclusion Specialist has increased the number of girls with disabilities served by over 250% over the last year. Our Young Leaders Program serves over 2,400 girls in Washington, DC, Prince George’s County, Montgomery County and Frederick County, MD and Arlington County and Fairfax County, VA lead by 180 college students from 11 local universities. The Linguistic Outreach Specialists increased the number of Latina Girl Scouts by 28% in FY'10. The Membership Initiatives team serves over 4,000 girls annually through outreach community based camps during the spring and summer breaks. - Collaborated with Girl Scouts USA on the National Include ALL Girls Initiative.- Oversee 21 grant programs and produce update reports to the granters. - Plan, supervise and organize 3 outreach conferences for 650 targeted teens from low-income and diverse populations. - Helped raise over $150,000 from corporate and foundation donors.- Managed the RFP’s and bulk purchasing for all transportation needs.- Choreographed and managed one of the world’s largest flash mobs for Girl Scouts Rock the Mall, the celebration for the 100th Anniversary of Girl Scouts to Ignite seen all over the world. - Managed the copyright and licensing for all music used at Girl Scouts Rock the Mall.- Developed a Together Greening Project with Girl Scouts USA Oversees China.- Developed and managed the CareFirst and Washington Gas patch programs implemented at Community Based Outreach camps reaching over half million girls to date.

Camp & Programming- Oversee development and delivery of Girl Scout programming to over 1,500 girls and over 1,200 adults of varied socio-economic, ethnic, racial and religious backgrounds in the greater Washington metropolitan area. - Recruit and direct over 75 administrative volunteers and over 185 staff for 6 community based camps for low-income youth. - Planned and implemented the first ever training for Program Aides on how to include children with disabilities into both troops and camps.Recruitment & Retention- Produce news releases and marketing materials to promote the activities of the membership. - Perform statistical analysis to determine areas of focus for recruitment and retention activities in seven diverse geographical areas.Fund Development & Task Force- Staff liaison to the Inclusion Task Force.- Developed the Girl Scout and First Tee Golf program in Montgomery County and assisted in obtaining $12,500 from USGA to help fund the program. - Coordinating with the Fund Development Department to obtain a grant from Mitsubishi Electric America Foundation (MEAF) to fund the Inclusion Specialist and GSCNC’s efforts on inclusion.
