An incredibly loyal nonprofit leader with over 20 years nonprofit experience. Currently the Executive Director of Community Bridges, Inc. a nonprofit organization that provides multicultural empowerment and leadership programs to girls from diverse backgrounds in the Montgomery County, Maryland. Prior to coming to Community Bridges, I led the Membership Initiatives Department at the largest Girl Scout council in the country. I was responsible for several of GSCNC’s strategic funding and programmatic partnerships.I’m truly passionate about my work and always eager to connect with other nonprofit professionals. Years ago I had the opportunity to bring a girl with autism to her first day camp experience. She came back to camp year after year as I watched her grow in the confident young woman that was able to lead a unit in songs. Her mother credited our camp to her growth. That young woman inspired me to work and develop the Including ALL Girls Initiative with Girl Scouts of the USA. The initiative has shaped the inclusion of girls with disabilities into the Girl Scout program nationwide.
