• Reviewed and approved PPAP documents such as PFMEA, Control Plan, MSA, Gage R&R, Inspection standard, Capability and Capacity studies for the Energy Storage suppliers.• Reviewed SCAR’s, performed Root cause analysis (RCA) to solve supplier quality issues and implemented Corrective and Preventive actions (CAPA).• Updated and maintained KPI dashboards to track supplier metrics such as PPAP, SCAR and Capacity tracking status using Tableau and Excel. • Reviewed drawings and suggested design changes to ensure that manufacturing needs are considered and appropriate suppliers are selected.

• Conducted First Article Inspection (FAI’s), supplier audits using IATF 16949 standards to check whether the parts meet the quality, performance and delivery expectations. • Created KPI dashboards using Qlik and Power BI to monitor parameters such as part rejects, supplier defect rate which led to a decrease in part defects by 20%.• Acted as a liaison between Seagrave and Suppliers to implement ECN changes and reviewed SCAR to improve supplier quality.• Implemented the setup of new parts on the two bin Kanban system in the assembly line to optimize the inventory levels which led to a reduction in inventory costs by $15,000.

• Inspected the various plant floor and assembly process and identified the need to change ABS Sub assembly process from Trim line to separate line.• Designed the layout of the bin parts storage area to make effective use of available space to store maximum parts.• Implemented the idea of changing the ABS Sub assembly process from Trim line to separate line which reduced the cycle time of the assembly of ABS parts from 95 sec to 55 sec to accommodate the increase in production capacity from 58UPH to 66UPH.• Corrected the assembly process setup to reduce Rapid entire body assessment score from 12 (High risk) to 5 (Low risk) which reduced the Musculoskeletal disorder risks for the Blue collared workers.
