I have an insatiable appetite for business strategy, B2B market insight and customer understanding. I have experienced many different sides of the research and insight industry - starting my career at a large international research supplier, moving to the US, returning to work for a smaller agency, then appointed Head of Insight at a well known multinational. I then established my own research consultancy and in 2019 was involved in the purchase of our fieldwork supplier, Prevision Research. As Managing Director, I now spend most of my time leading this award winning data collection business.These experiences in the research and insight industry have taught me many lessons. In particular, this experience has given me a greater appreciation of business strategy and the importance of recruiting and retaining exceptionally talented staff. As a business, we appreciate fully the need for our clients' to maintain competitive advantage through the use of forensic market insight and high quality data. I am a greater believer in developing and promoting the wider research community and was beyond proud to be awarded an MRS Fellowship in April 2019 for services to the market research industry. I was formerly Chair of the Insights Consultants Group and in 2024 was appointed as the inaugural Chair of the MRS B2B Network, dedicated to supporting best practice in B2B research.At Purple Market Research, we combine traditional research techniques with the new approaches brought about by advances in digital technology and social media, to provide cutting edge business solutions.
