I have produced ~400 scientific articles (h-index of 72) and raised ~15 million pounds of funding for the last decade. My interests are on diagnostics, treatment, control, and genomics of mainly but not limited to enteric and respiratory pathogens, of which AMR pathogens, targeted phages and vaccines research are my main focuses.I enjoy the sense of linking things together, developing new strategies, and turning ambitious ideas into reality. I am not afraid to challenge perceptions and opinions to add value to any given discussion. I am compassionate, dynamic, and personable with excellent people skills, allowing me to interact with a range of people from different backgrounds. I enjoy bringing an enthusiastic and youthful dynamism to the workplace.
