Directly worked offensive operations ISO Operation Inherent Resolve (Iraq-Syria) and Operation Freedom’s Sentinel (Afghanistan) as part of the Joint Personnel Recovery (JPRC) cell. Previous position was Strategy Division Chief, from 2012 to 2015. Built and staffed the strategy division in the Air Operations Squadron from the ground up, established the Plans, Guidance, and Operations Assessment cells, supported several major unit exercises including ILLINI THUNDER. Served as head of Plans and Programs (J-5) for the Joint Task Force established to execute the PRARIE QUAKE 2 domestic earthquake response exercise in 2015. Directly supported and augmented exercise planning for the 612th Air Operations Center at Davis-Monthan AFB AZ. Supported PANAMAX and INTEGRATED ADVANCE exercises tutoring foreign officers in AOC procedures from partner-nation air forces. Well-respected mentor and leader, relied upon extensively by junior members new to the AOC for training and education.
