I was fortunate to work as a physical therapist assistant for several years in outpatient orthopedics. While working in outpatient orthopedics I was able to work with a wide variety patients. I was also able to work under great therapists that helped expand my knowledge as a PTA. After several years of having the privilege to stay at home with my kids, I decided to pursue my Bachelor of Science in physical therapy assisting. I have also thoroughly enjoyed the opportunities I've had to work with kids. Whether it be coaching on the sidelines of a volleyball or basketball game or working in the classroom as a teacher assistant, it has allowed me the chance to stay connected to some of the things I love.
