Line Maintenance - TroubleShooting/Technical Support Desk Department: • Responsible for tracking and analysis of repetitive defects • Deferred Items resolution • 24/7 Monitoring of aircraft technical status through AIRMAN • Technical assistance to maintenance providers and Crew • Structural damage assessment • Manage AOG recovery situations • Provide a point of contact within the MCC for all maintenance and engineering matters • First point contact for emergency response for AOG situations • Liaise with Flight operations for matters of a technical nature in regards to the aircraft status • AOG situation point of contact for out station MRO’s • Provide defect and reliability monitoring and raise work orders in conjunction with Production planning for repetitive defects and troubleshooting. • Perform troubleshooting and fault isolation tasks in accordance with the manufacturers approved documentation. • To monitor HIL’s and raise spares requisitions in a timely manner and ensure defects are rectified before their MEL expiry dates. • Carryout assigned duties away from the main base as required by engineering management and the flight operation after prior discussion including temporary line station set up, AOG support, base maintenance technical representative, flying spanner duties.
