As Director of Games Technology at Greentube GMBH, I managed development and operations teams spanning nine countries. I drove the design, development, and introduction of the new RGS (Remote gaming system) platform, Mynt, to the market in 2022 and supported the growth and maintenance of our existing RGS, supporting 100's of B2B customers globally. In addition to my management responsibilities, I actively contributed as a senior solution architect, working closely with the development teams to produce industry-leading technologies and driving DevOps initiatives to support operations activities around DevOps and platform scaling.I supported the department's adoption of Agile methodologies, progressively evolving our SDLC with regular process refinement and adaptation. I also engaged with A&M activities to ensure full technical due diligence of upcoming acquisitions or joint initiatives and provided coaching/consultancy to other business units group-wide. I held key responsibilities for the company during a number of successful audits, such as ISO 27001, taking part in internal enforcement, policy writing, and auditing. Data Protection Activities such as data retention under GDPR and key compliance competencies being directly involved with licence and tender acquisitions for new markets and audits within existing markets.

In my role as Lead RGS Architect and Team Lead at Greentube, I was responsible for both the architecture and technical vision of the RGS platform Mynt as well as leading a team of developers. I designed and managed the data, application, and infrastructure architecture for the new RGS platform, which included game components (clients and servers), game-related back-end services, integration services, back-office tools, and all supporting systems such as monitoring, databases, and data warehouse connections. The design factored in heavily our responsibilities in 15+ regulated markets as well as market-agnostic data protection concerns and regulations such as GDPR, ISMS and Change management. In my leadership role, I was the main contact for architecture, solution design, Core Platform engineering, and development tasks. I provided initial effort estimations and interfaced with Portfolio Managers, Project Managers, and Technical Solution Coordinators to ensure seamless integration and execution across the development department and other teams. Leading my team, I ensured that all projects were completed efficiently and met the highest quality standards.

NerfGames LTD was founded on the 13th of April 2010 by myself and Tim Leader. We are currently developing our own brand of games and computing software whilst working alongside organisations like GameCity. Along side the production of games and bespoke software we have been focusing our development on our own game engine. This is my primary focus in the company, as it requires large amounts of structured, object orientated and optimised code. We also create bespoke pc and android applications for business solutions. In both 2010 and 2011 we have assisted with the GameCity festival, acting as onsite technical support and hosts. We work along side the developers attending and offer both technical and personal support throughout the event.

Project: Learning temporal dependencies using neural networks: A Comparison of Different Neural Networks for Predicting Chaotic time series.During this post I created a Neural Network framework in c#. This allowed the further detailed testing of various network structures to predict financial trends. The framework allows users to create a network of any complexity with multiple layers of re-currency. It was also built in a heavily object orientated and modular format to allow expansion for unique problem solving scenarios. Using the Neural network engine, I compared different levels of context data retention. I also compared different methods of introducing the data and weight changes to the network eg, a comparison of batch and stochastic updating.
