I joined JHR Developments while still at Bradford College, studying manufacturing engineering.During my time there, I began as a number 3 mechanic assisting in mainly car presentation of two Ginetta Juniors.However I was quickly promoted to a number 2 mechanic role, working closely with the number 1 mechanic to prepare and maintain the race cars to highest level.This would involve checking all components were correctly fitted to the car, going through preventative procedures to ensure high levels of reliability, repairing damage to the car when necessary & assisting the number 1 with set up.
