Shelly is primarily focused on supporting technology entrepreneurs in sectors such as Autonomous Mobility, Health and Digital Assets. She is also Lead Mediator for LM, a full service mediation practice. With 16 years of experience at Cox Enterprises, she has a proven track record of leading entrepreneurs and growing startups to successful exits. Shelly has also held various leadership roles at Cox Enterprises, including heading a team in the transportation division that produced strategic alliances, long-range planning, and company valuations, as well as leading the Energy Team on the Cox Automotive Green Council to reduce the company's carbon footprint. Shelly is a mentor, advisor, and board member for organizations like the University of Oxford Foundry, Global Wellness Institute, California Plant Based Alliance, and the Greater Laguna Coast Fire Safe Council. She is also a civic-minded leader, serving as the former Chair of The City of Laguna Beach Environmental & Sustainability Committee and Chair of the city's Emergency Disaster Preparedness Committee. Additionally, she is a certified Community Emergency Response Team member from FEMA. Shelly has spoken at domestic and international events, including the United Nations, on topics such as mobility, emerging technologies, sustainability, environment, general business, and women's issues. She is a graduate of Harvard Law Program On Negotiation and Harvard Business School’s inaugural HBX Live program on Strategy and Execution, and is also an alumna of University of Oxford Saïd Business School.
