Provide leadership for the Guest Security Platform used across all digital applications at Target to ensure high availability, a secure guest experience, and an observable platform. Leverage the platform data for analytics efforts and risk mitigation.

Lead two teams of engineers that provide application security and analytics for target.com, web applications, and APIs. The guest security team is responsible for the set of microservices written in Spring framework that provide authentication, authorization, and manage guest identity. The data analytics team derives insights from the data these microservices stream to our Hadoop cluster to improve the security of our applications.

Lead developer for integration of OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect services with web and native applications. Built a strong team by identifying and recognizing unique talents of individual developers and building a culture of respect, accountability, and focus on delivery. Worked with partner teams to integrate the new solution with digital offerings in Target Technology Services, the internet facing API gateway, and the OAuth security solution for team members.· Built core security library for SpringBoot and Ratpack applications to enable domain service teams to easily migrate from existing implementations and integrate with our guest security solution.· Evaluated metrics used for our security solution, identified suspect data, and developed a precise way to measure guest sign in success.· Suggested algorithm refinements to with the machine learning team that enabled them develop a more accurate algorithm for real time order prediction.· Worked with the data analytics team to implement a tracking solution for the guest login process and guest security platform.· Built apps with the ReactJS framework.· Provided bug fixes and enhancements to the Javascript library the Target web and Digital Weekly Ad teams used to integrate with our guest security product.· Served as primary guest security contact for integration with Checkout, Subscriptions, Cartwheel, Registry, Ratings and Reviews, Crush, Adaptive, DWA, API Gateway, Enterprise Auth (ID2), Firefly, MIPS, Akamai teams.· Provided suggestions to business owners for new features and enhancements that improved the guest security product. Drove a portion of the vision for future product enhancements and features.· Strong focus on team development, team culture, goal setting and attainment, and cooperation with other teams to deliver a great product for TTS.· Built security audit event library used in guest security applications. Security audit events are published to Kafka and fed to ELK and Hadoop for analysis.
