Responsible for all direct supervision of construction activity within a given community; Conduct Pre-Construction Conferences with customers; Conduct Pre-Sheetrock Conferences with customers; Attend monthly Project Manager meetings; Attend weekly construction meetings; Manage Builders and Finish Managers and conduct weekly meetings; Assist Customer Service Department when called upon; Responsible for Subcontractor acquisition; Responsible for overall community appearance; Maintain all erosion control measures; Conduct inspections and monitor rainfall in order to comply with the NPDES process; Act as a liaison with all City, County and State inspections; Ensure that each home is built per plan and community specifications; Report plan errors, design problems and purchase order discrepancies to appropriate departments; Administrative duties include payroll, material invoice approval, weekly concrete logs, walk books, scheduling and maintaining house files; Assist in training of new Finish Managers; Maintain the general welfare and morale of all subcontractors, suppliers and staff with a motivating positive demeanor and direction. Remain keenly aware of the general pulse of the entire construction operation and constantly work at providing the atmosphere necessary to accomplish the objectives, Being aware of carriage and demeanor is reflected by the reaction of subcontractors and subordinates and consistently support a team effort; Track all Customer Concerns through to completion; Enforce all Company policies and procedures; Ensure all homes are built with care to the highest industry standards. Workload consists of a range of five to twenty-five million dollars in inventory at any given time.
