Psychiatric Department Director at Columbiana Counseling Center. Direct supervisor of four other nurse practitioners along with the nursing department. Collaboration with psychiatrist/medical director. Responsible for creating, writing, and employing policies for the psychiatric department while also ensuring that clients are provided with safe and effective care for their mental health. In addition to my administrative duties at the Counseling Center, I maintain a caseload of children, adolescents, and adults in the community outpatient setting. Extensive experience treating a diverse range of ADHD, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, and anxiety with an array of different psychiatric medications and their applications.
