• Responsible for Teleglobe Telecom Operations in Spain & Portugal.The job responsibility also included Network Support Solutions, Sales Support and Operational Manager: • Established the basis to start up the business of Teleglobe in Spain, Canadian incumbent (PTT) for long distance calls and IP transit provider with international capacities on different cable systems.• Achievements: Started the business of Teleglobe in Spain in a very short period of time being part of the managing team and interfacing with USA, Canada and European operations to develop the business as per corporate standards.• Provided local sales support, customer support and interface with customers.• Carried out negotiations with Telefonica for interconnection agreement as well as CMT to obtain required licenses to offer telecom services as voice termination, data and IP wholesale services. • Business Support Systems as provisioning, customer care, and carrier reconciliation processes.

MCI international Spain• Provided technical support for MCI’s services used by customers in Europe, Middle East and Africa.• Provided technical support, pre and post sales, for the Spain office sales team and other departments.• Installed/maintained/tested internetworking, data and voice equipment, including Cisco routers from 1600 to 7500; WAN services, ATM, Frame Relay, International Private Lines (E1/T1, Nx64Kbps, NxE1/T1), VSAT systems.Achievements:• Installed/commissioned/tested MCI’s 1st frame relay node outside of the USA.• First engineer to be employed in the MCI Spain office.
