App Team Carolina is the premiere mobile software development organization at UNC and one of the nation’s only college-level iOS development teams. I was chosen from a pool of over 200 applicants to participate in an intensive bootcamp focused on enhancing iOS development skills through practical experiences using Swift, SwiftUI, and Objective-C in Xcode. - Completed 15 app development projects, refining UI design skills and adapting to professional software development roles. - Undertook rigorous coursework in GitHub classroom to build a solid understanding of Swift, equipping myself with the technical skills necessary to create impactful software. - Modeled the popular social media platform TikTok for the final project, using Firebase and Custom AVPlayer to implement complex features like snap scrolling, content interactions, and profile setup.

- Held four hours of office hours per week to help students in Alyssa Lytle’s COMP 110: Intro to Programming, assisting students with understanding syntax, logic, and debugging. - Hosted workshops & review sessions reviewing course concepts, materials, and exams to enhance student learning experience and encourage engagement. - Demonstrated the ability to effectively explain python CS concepts in a way that allowed students new to the field to develop a strong understanding of topics. - Collaborated with instructor and teaching assistants weekly to strategize office hours and lesson plans.
