Earlier, Executive Committee Member, President & Chief Operating Officer of Global Emerging Markets ( Asia-Pacific, Latin America, Middle East & Africa) for ConvaTec. Before this, he was the Executive Vice President and President Asia Pacific, Middle East & Africa for Boston Scientific Corporation. Prior to that, he specialized in strategic management consulting services for the healthcare industry as founder and CEO of Bose Consulting Group. Prior to founding own consulting firm, served for 28 years with Johnson & Johnson Inc, and since 2003 was a member of the Worldwide Group Operating Committee Johnson & Johnson Medical Devices & Diagnostics Group, as Company Group Chairman. While at Johnson & Johnson, pioneered the entry, designed the market creation strategies and led the growth of J&J Medical Devices & Diagnostics companies in all Asia-Pacific markets including emerging markets like China, India & Vietnam. Also instrumental in implementing the strategy of Market Appropriate Products in Asia and setting up the first R&D and Product Development Centre in the region to develop products to meet the needs of Asian patients and surgeons, leading to the launch of several products tailored for emerging markets.He also served as Member of the Board of Carefusion, Quattro Vascular Pte Ltd, Trireme Medical and Singapore Management University ( as a member of the Advisory Board of the Lee Kong Chian School of Business). He was also a visiting faculty at Nanyang Business School, NTU Singapore.
