I am a biophysicist at the University of Paris City (brant new fusion of Paris Descartes and Paris Diderot universities) involved in research on biological networks, engineering in neurosciences, physics teaching and university administration.I am director with Prof. Sophie Bernard of the new Graduate School of Biomedical Engineering of Université de Paris and co-head of the Bioengineering and Innovation in Neurosciences master (https://www.bme-paris.com/program-2/master-2/bioengineering-and-innovation-in-neurosciences-bin/).My research concerns the domains of systems biology with the structure and dynamics of gene regulatory networks and the domain of neurophysics, specifically collective behaviors and information processing in neuronal cultures. I'm curious to understand what is needed for a collection of neurons to acquire computational capacities.
