Scale E-Commerce Site to 10Mil --- A reinforcement of a pre-existing ecommerce site for scalability up to 10 million users and 10 million products. • Competed and collaborated with a team of 4 engineers in a remote, Agile environment to most efficiently and effectively scale the reviews section of the site for useability to ten million users and products currently using MongoDB. • Designed a JS function for seeding a database with 10 million unique entries for testing. • Learned and stress tested Cassandra and Postgres databases, redesigning indexes and data structures to optimize queries and ensure a complete round trip through the network in less than half a second. • Built out a multi-EC2 instance network using define replicaan Nginx instance as a load-balancer to ensure horizontal scalability. • Graphed and captured the results of the tests using New Relic and K6.Cassandra | MongoDB | Postgres | NodeJS | Nginx | AWS EC2 | PM2 | React | HTML | CSS | Javascript | Express

Brick and Mortar to E-Commerce --- A built-from-scratch e-store visually replicating target.com with similar functionalities. • Collaborated on a team of 5 engineers in a remote, Agile workflow environment. • Delegated to design a front end replica of the header and footer using React as well as giving the search bar full functionality and building the proxy server to serve the various components from their respective urls. • Created a wireframe in order to make front end replication as close to the Target site as possible. • Completed the front end layout using CSS Modules and React. • Served the component using Node.JS on the back-end, routing user request communications with a combination of Axios and Express. • Designed a schema file for the products optimized for elastic search functionality. • Created a series of mySQL queries to scan each aspect of a product, (specifications, highlights, etc) to return database results based on user input. • Stored and tracked history of all input in mySQL in order to implement the “Trending Searches” functionality to the search bar. • Researched EC2 instance to host on AWS, implementing PM2 in order to keep the instance properly updated and active. • Built out two separate EC2 instances to host the site on AWS. SMS Diary --- An android phone app for locally searching their SMS messages by date to help users remember what they did that day. • Worked solo to design an android application for myself to help remember and track what I did on specific days. • Researched and implemented React-Native as the foundation for the app within the Android Studio and VSCODE. • Accessed and ethically requested SMS permissions in the user experience without storing SMS data off the device. • Designed a user interface using React-Native Components that allowed the user to search for keywords and choose a date range to render the messages as was most effective for them. • Tested the app both on my own device and within a virtual machine.Implemented a search feature on the backend to functionally find messages consisting specific words within a given date range or just the date range itself. • Optimized the sorted result display so the user could clearly see when a day changes from one to another. Collaborated on a team of two as a partner to design a Go-To-Market plan for the tech startup, H2Optimize Inc. They are still in negotiations with several investors for the time being and I still offer my marketing expertise and now help them knock out any tech bugs that pop up.Crafted a successful video sales letter for a men's dating company and stayed on to help with general website copy. Partnered in a team of 3 to create a men's bespoke fashion consulting business in New York City where I filmed 20 hours of content with various stylist around Manhattan. Ultimately, the team had an awkward change in direction and I decided to part ways but the content turned out quite nice.

I was the sole copywriter for a small company of 8 where I crafted and launched unique information marketing campaigns to an email list ranging from 10,000 to 200,000 as well designed lead-magnet articles, blog posts, ebooks, and social media posts. I also did reach outs for affiliate deals and was ranked in the top 3 for several large affiliate marketing competitions. I learned facebook ad targeting on the job and filmed video content to increase SEO exposure and stay relevant in the Youtube and Facebook algorithms.
