Sofia was “chosen’ by Supply Chain in her internship program. Since then, she fell in love with it and she had several roles of increasing responsibilities in the areas of Planning, Logistics, Improvement and International Trade. She started back then as a Material Planner and her last role in Supply Chain was Europe, Africa and Middle East Supply Chain Director. She had the opportunity to work in 3 different geographies: North America, Latin America and Europe, which she finds extremely enriching professionally and personally.She is an experienced People leader and she had the opportunity to successfully lead a multi culture team (15+ nationalities) thru a company merger which was breakthrough for her as a leader, given the magnitude of the transformation. She finds Leadership her vocation and the thing she loves above all in her work however, she also acknowledges that leadership is a journey and she will forever be a learner.Sofia served as Women Inclusion Network Chair for Corteva in Europe and since then, has been expanding her influence to drive inclusion and diversity. From a family of four daughters, born and raised in the Brazilian countryside and with exposure to different cultures around the globe, Sofia brings Diversity, Inclusion and Equity as cores value of her professional and personal life.Sofia is married to Andre and have two beautiful daughters, Laura and Lina.
