The purpose of the Alpha Eta Mu Beta – Stony Brook University Chapter is to recognize undergraduate students in the Biomedical Engineering program who have demonstrated strong academic commitment within the engineering curriculum. Members of the honor society are expected to continue enhancing their education and promoting a positive sense of community in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Stony Brook University. These goals may be accomplished through volunteer services and involvement at events sponsored by the department and the AEMB chapter of Stony Brook University.Alpha Eta Mu Beta, as a registered organization at Stony Brook University is committed to promoting a safe and vibrant campus community.
