Mr. Buffington was responsible for national sales for the Retirement Services division. The sales force, the largest external sales team within the industry, was responsible for distribution for every plan size, tax code, and channel. Before becoming National Sales Manager, Buffington led the Business Development Team which consisted of Intermediary Services, Key Account Management, Market Development, and DCIO relationships. He also was previously responsible for leading the Northeast and Taft-Hartley sales teams.
