At Wright City Middle School, I enjoyed weaving my graphic and video editing experience to enhance highly engaging, standards based instruction for both in-person and virtual students. I utilized a practical and fun approach to science, engrossing learners, and providing hands-on projects for students to demonstrate their mastery whenever possible. I also provided coaching and growth development to new teachers and collaborated daily with the 7th Grade educational team to create and implement creative strategies for our students.

At Scott City Schools I enjoyed effectively using my real life advertising and marketing experience to teach High School and Middle School Photoshop and business classes. I also added in practical (and fun) elements to the lessons and projects. I also taught Middle School science, using an active and engaging blend of lecture, Internet, Google Application use, and hands-on laboratory experiments.During my time as a Special Education Aide I supported classroom special education teachers in both elementary and middle school in conducting daily learning activities with individual students and small groups in order to achieve teacher learning objectives.

In 2012 I was offered the opportunity to help the Show Me Center after high level retirements occurred. As the Business Manager I created, reported and maintained the operational budget of the Show Me Center, a 7,000 seat multi-purpose facility, including all accounts payable and receivable. I worked directly with the event promoters to settle out Show Me Center events and shows, negotiating the best terms for the facility whenever possible.Of course as a member of the small (and mighty) Show Me Center team I was active in all areas of facility operations: arena and meeting room booking, marketing, ticketing, event management, show research, event settlement, staff recruitment and new staff training.

As the Director of Education at Metro Business College I advised a diverse population of students concerning their academic progress, created the teaching schedule, conducted all student class enrollment and monitored student progress in relation to graduation while preparing our students to enter the workforce. I also maintained and secured electronic and physical permanent student educational records of the school. I was also actively involved in researching and evaluating collegiate programs, curricula, educational material and teaching techniques.

As Marketing Director I created engaging creative advertising, both traditional and digital, for large local and national events, using Adobe Creative Suite and additional software programs. I acted as independent advertising agency, contracted to work with various promoters and entertainment entities.
