In this position I created lift and turn drawing as well as calculations to prove structural integrity of ship structures. I have been responsible for creating P&ID overlays on ship’s general arrangement. I have analyzed ship structures in FEMAP in accordance with various Class rules, created strip-out drawings and drawings for new reinforcement steel. I am responsible for mentoring junior staff in various tasks, and responsible for checking work prior to final QC. I worked on several Trim and Stability booklets in GHS, as well as several Finite Element Analysis in FEMAP of a new crane foundation and new reinforcement deck structures. Recently have been involved in task estimates and was project manager on several tasks with teams up to six people.

Also involved in modeling and fixing temporary pipe supports in PDMS (including welds and end preps), extracting cut sketches and drawings from model to create drawings to support fabrication work packages.

Responsible for: performing incline tests, dead weight surveys, stability calculations (damage/intact) using GHS, still water and wave induced bending moments via GHS (and calculations using appropriate US Coast Guard and ABS standards); creating lift and turn drawings and inspecting units for proper lift structure.
