Phase 1 will cover the eastern rail yard (10th to 11th Avenue, 30th to 33rd Street) and Phase 2 will cover the western rail yard (11th to 12th Avenue, 30th to 33rd Street).1. Designed a new 13.2kV AC Power Substation and power distribution system for the LIRR's West Side Yard.2. The new substation will supply all existing and new yard facilities and was designed in accordance with NFPA 130, NFPA 70 NEC, IEEE Standards, Con Edison EO-2022 and LIRR Design Criteria. 3. Designed the medium voltage circuit breaker relay protection, DC control schematics and battery distribution systems.4. Developed electrical contract specifications describing equipment details, approved manufacturers and installation methods. 5. Worked with the Contractors on equipment installation details, phasing requirements and identifying potential construction issues. 6.
