I have been practising family law in Canberra since admission as a solicitor in 2002. My experience and expertise covers all of the many facets of family law including defacto matters and adoption cases, and my particular areas of interest in family law include representation of clients in complex proceedings involving children, property and child support issues. My primary focus is guiding clients to resolve disputes through negotiation rather than through the courts and help guide clients through what can be a difficult and emotional process. I hold a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Newcastle. I have completed additional Family Law training in the area of Collaborative Law and trained as an Independent Children's Lawyer. I assisted in the setting up of the Duty Lawyer Scheme in the Family Court and Federal Magistrates Court in Canberra.
