KDM Oilfield Manufacturing Ltd. was acquired by Complete Tubular Products in early 2016

- Led the development of proprietary downhole coring tools, the analysis and study of various short and long term design projects, and provided technical advice and guidance to less experienced engineers. - Supported the ongoing growth of the engineering group through mentoring junior technologists and engineers, developing and maintaining engineering databases, and reviewing technical reports, CAD drawings, and calculations- Assisted with the launch and technical support of new and existing product lines including interacting directly with customers, sales staff, and operations.

- Acted as the lead mechanical designer for the ‘QuickCapture’ pressure coring tool and assisted as needed on various other short term design projects- Led the shop/field testing and eventual field deployment of QuickCapture pressure coring technology in Canada, the USA, and Australia- Worked with customers directly in both pre and post job capacities in efforts to both minimize problems with deploying new tools and technology, and maximize the value delivered by said technologies- Provided technical support as required for in-house steel body PDC drill bit development and manufacturing

- Performed detailed design work on new mud motor technology which included various mechanical design upgrades to the "standard" motor fleet, as well as involving entirely new sub-assemblies with aspects of downhole communication and power transmission- Worked with shop staff, technologists, and other engineers on assembling and testing various iterations of prototype sub-assemblies and technologies; proven designs were then full scale endurance tested at the in-house World Class Test Facility- Created and prepared detailed assembly procedures, graphics, and reports to fulfill project documentation requirements and assist with the transfer of project ownership to the manufacturing/production department
