Mr. Carr originally gained experience marketing in the highly-regulated securities industry. A former registered principal with a national network of agents and brokers, he started SaveWealth.com, one of the first websites ever to focus on estate and retirement planning. He used this experience in online marketing to launch his media and marketing agency.Mr. Carr has helped professionals and organizations promote themselves through both traditional and cutting-edge media. By combining traditional marketing, including public relations and graphic design, with online branding, social media, and promotions, Mr. Carr has taught professionals, not-for-profits, and businesses effectively promote themselves online. Mr. Carr stays active in the local, business, and legal communities. A longtime member of Rotary, Mr. Carr served as District Governor in 2017-2018 for more than sixty Rotary clubs in San Diego and Imperial counties. He has also served on the board of Friends of Balboa Park and Sepsis Alliance. In recognition of his volunteer work, Mr. Carr was honored with the Community Service Award by the San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program (SDVLP) in 2010. He also received the 40 Under 40 award in 2012 from San Diego Metro magazine. Scott and his wife Heather work together to raise funds for several worthwhile charities, including The Rotary Foundation, Serving Seniors, the KPBS Radio Reading Service, and the U.S. Marine Toys for Tots Foundation.
