I am a Mechanical Engineer Technologist with over a decade of technical experience, working as a gas turbine technician and as a contractor / consultant with a reputable vehicle test company.Over the years I have been lucky enough to be involved in some spectacular projects, I have installed strain gauges into the air-frame of a number of different aircraft, I have hung suspended under the second narrows bridge, I have been part of police investigations(not in a bad way), driven trucks,cars,bikes and once a trike bike. I spent time in China overseeing a vehicle manufacturer during production. I have done all this with a determination to do the job right and had a great deal of fun doing it.I returned to school to develop skills that I did not have because I decided I wanted to be the one designing the projects. I want to be part of something that makes me proud.I now have a great job at Acuren in Richmond BC. I am working in the engineering office, in the lab and out in the field. I was hired to be the data acquisition and labview guy and I look forward to a long interesting and fun filled career here.
