Hi,I’m a Senior Automation Engineer at Wesco. I'm passionate about developing automated systems. I lead integration and deployment efforts of commercially available fulfillment systems (ASRS) designed to enhance material handling within Wesco's global Operations. Before Wesco, I was an Automation Software Engineer at Intel. I developed and maintained their state-of-the-art systems (AMHS) which control factory equipment, track product as it moves through the factory, measures their features, detects defects, handles materials, and collects data which is analyzed to optimize factory scheduling and enable efficient factory operations. Here’s a video that shows you the beast I’ve had the honor of controlling: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z9e7PtYlcrQ My career in automation started at Apple with a software developer career experience. Apple introduced me to the programming language Go (Golang), and I helped automate their IS&T retail operations by developing backend code. This career experience was the product of 5 years of providing technical support as a Genius/ Technical Expert while I completed my bachelor's degree in engineering management at ASU. My experiences have equipped me with an intricate mix of engineering methodologies, data analytics, software development, six sigma, and project management skills. I love what I do, and I look forward to continuing my career in automation. Happy to connect, let's change the world one software update at a time (:
