Current Role:Working as a Research Associate at Sri Leo Muthu Innovation Centre (SLMIC), Sri Sairam College of Engineering since August 2023.Educational Background:I completed my B.E. in Mechanical Engineering in 2023 from Sri Sairam College of Engineering under Visvesvaraya Technological University, with a CGPA of 7.45. My studies focused on Engineering Graphics and Manufacturing under Mechanical Engineering.Technical Expertise:I have expertise in AUTODESK FUSION 360 and am developing skills in CATIA and SOLIDWORKS. Additionally, I have an interest in programming languages (C and C++).Project Experience:1. Retrofitting of Gasoline Engine Vehicle to Electric Vehicle (Ford Fiesta): Worked on motor and battery aspects as part of my academic project.2. Design and Fabrication of Electric Trike: Led the team, focusing on design and electrical connections.3. Rescue Buoy: Won 2nd prize in the Matrix Global University Awards 2023 with a cash prize of ₹30,000.4. Matsya - The Surface Vehicle: Served as Design Head, Awarded/won ₹5 lakhs in the Yukti Innovation Challenge 2023.5. AGV - Autonomous Ground Vehicle: Developed for logistics applications.6. Electric Bike for Racing Competition: Contributed to the design section.7. Go-Kart for Racing Competition: Worked on design and fabrication.Career Aspirations:I aim to work with esteemed companies like TVS, Ashok Leyland, and Tata, as well as innovative startups in the mechanical industry, to gain industry experience.Community Involvement and Leadership:My commitment to service and leadership is reflected in my long-standing involvement with the National Service Scheme (NSS). I began as a volunteer during my 11th grade and have continued through my engineering studies, at my final year of degree, I served as the Captain of the NSS Team at Sri Sairam College of Engineering. These roles have strengthened my leadership skills and my ability to work effectively in teams.Commitment to Continuous Learning:During the COVID-19 lockdown, I took the opportunity to expand my knowledge by completing many numbers of courses on Coursera and edx.
