My doctorate degree as an Educational Specialist and my master’s degree in Psychology have uniquely prepared me for my current position as a Consumer Services Coordinator at the Inland Regional Center in San Bernardino, CA. Since 1972, Inland has provided support to people with intellectual disabilities, autism, cerebral palsy, and epilepsy. I’ve always considered myself a very understanding and compassionate individual and providing services to those less fortunate has been an incredibly rewarding experience for me. That being said, I am ready to find a new company that would benefit even more from my skills and talents and motivate me for growth. While I can easily work independently, I find my talents are best used when working in high pressure situations in a group atmosphere. I value brainstorming with my co-workers and am always looking to deliver the best, most cost-efficient solutions to the team. Case management, policy and procedures improvements, and training/coaching are some of my favorite topics to discuss with my co-workers.I take great pride, personally and professionally, in setting and achieving my goals and then moving on to more challenging objectives. Quite frankly, I expect to achieve outstanding results because I am hungry to learn and tremendously confident in my abilities. I’m not interested in jumping from job to job; rather, I am determined to find a company whose culture and values coincide with mine. While I think the expression “people person” is oftentimes overused, I can’t think of a better phrase to capture who I am. I love interacting with others, personally and professionally. I especially enjoying the art of being a good listener when I am around others that can help me learn and grow. I’m always actively moving forward and am continuously driven to learn new concepts. Learning is a daily goal for me and being valuable to my friends, family, and the company I keep is what makes me jump out of bed every morning!Let's talk for more information!
