Founding member of The Ruby. Underwrite annual fellowship for a writer or artist of color with financial need. The Ruby is a collective of Bay Area women and nonbinary creatives with a desire to learn, curiosity, and a range of interests, and who are continually seeking enrichment. It's for those who are passionate about their creative and professional pursuits and want to share them with others, and who value community and are interested in new friendships — especially outside of their chosen fields of work.

Independent Consultant (2015-Present; 2010-2011)Product marketing, content strategy, writer / editor (AP style). Projects include: marketing campaigns, writer / editor (white papers, blogs, email, newsletters, brochures, web and mobile). Responsible for writing, editing, research, project management, budget, metrics and brand renewal updates. Work with marketing, sales, product, engineers, compliance/governance, in-house creative and external ad/brand agencies.

• Led most successful direct-mail campaigns (institutional / registered investment advisors) in the history of iShares, the exchange traded funds (ETF) business at BlackRock. • Developed, managed and executed integrated marketing campaigns (email, mobile, website, newsletters and direct mail). In charge of planning, strategy, project management, creative development, art direction, metrics and budget.• Worked in partnership with cross-functional teams (product, sales, brand studio, compliance) across BlackRock and iShares. External partnerships included: MRM Worldwide, OgilvyOne Worldwide and Aslan Graphics.

• Co-creator of the Published Research Group. Provided brand and content strategy. Researched, wrote and edited white papers. • Developed and launched digital news service platforms covering institutional investment management (product, manager and organizational changes/updates) and defined contribution (retirement, government, policy and regulatory focus). Wrote and/or edited more than 5,000 stories (daily platform).• Oversaw Callan's four quarterly publications: Capital Market Review, DC Observer, Hedge Fund Monitor and Private Market Trends.• Co-led firm-wide brand marketing and redesign project with head of graphics: marketing/sales materials, published research and logos.
