I’m passionate about everything what is making the life our employees easier and the life of our customers better.My interest has always been in natural science and computers, so it was clear from the beginning, that I would study Biology. After the university I worked several years in operations, where I established a new operational division in a CRO, so that we were able to offer prion clearance studies. Being successful with this CRO, we grew significantly over the years with a couple of merges from a 10 person to a 50 person division and my professional experience grew, too, from heading the operational department until I hold the position of the test facility manager, responsible for the site under GLP.During this time, I gained experience as a service provider with clients from all over the world, being proven expert for technical and regulatory aspects of prion and virus clearance studies in compliance with GLP requirements but also gaining experiences in improving operational processes in the lab, training as well as scheduling the operational business.After 12 years, I felt, that it was time for a development into a new direction and took over the position of the head of the internal service groups for our two sites in Germany, which covered beneath others the GMP archive, facility maintenance, equipment qualification and computer system validation support.During that time, I also took over the Site Implementation and Optimization team, responsible for the implementation of global IT systems (GxP) and optimization projects for Germany. From 2018 onwards, I stepped further into this role and became Business Optimization lead for the Biologics group within Charles River.January 2019, I moved to the role of Director Operational Excellence for Global Biologics and oversaw with a team of site optimization leads all operational excellence and optimization initiatives within the Biologics group, using principles of Lean, Lean 6s Sigma and the Theory of Constrains as well as the Dynamic Work Design principles as trained by the MIT.In 2022 we started our journey of developing a digital client engagement platform, called Apollo™, which I lead for the Biologics division as Product Owner. Since than we are creating and evolving constantly new features to improve the way of working together.
