Born in Nacogdoches, raised in Houston, I’m Texan through-in-through. Originally seeking to become a Park Ranger, I pursued a degree in Forestry, with an emphasis in Forest Recreation Management at Stephen F. Austin State University. It was there where I became familiar with UAS technology, developed my piloting skills, and studied for the FAA Part 107 exam. I passed that test, and now, having been licensed for 5+ years, I've learned how in the right pilot’s hands, drone technology can produce high-quality, accurate data, while simultaneously maximizing safety.Having studied natural resource management in college, practiced arboriculture with Bartlett Tree Experts, earned a certification in OGI Thermography from ITC, and gained management experience at Arch Aerial, I have been able to pursue my passions in technology, innovation, and sustainability.When I’m not at work, I love researching another place to travel to, attempting a new recipe in the kitchen, constructing bioactive terrariums, and studying the art of filmmaking. With a dream of becoming a filmmaker, I am always looking to help on films and practice my skills with video editing. Beware, I love asking people what their all-time favorite film is and why it is ranked as so. I'll then add it my running list of "Film to See."
