Led the transition of two urinalysis instruments (microscopy and uro-chemistry) from WinXP Embedded to Windows 7 Embedded. Led the validation of all non-product software tools for those systems as part of a greater Design History File remediation effort. Led the prototyping of a derivative uro-chemistry instrument for the European market.

Led the development of multiple releases of analytical and instrument control software products for mass spectrometry with domestic and offshore teams (one in accordance with ISO 13485). Selected accomplishments: ► Developed operating procedures, project metrics and dashboards and presented project progress to executive stakeholders. ► Developed a hybrid Agile/Kanban development model enabling quarterly release cycles within a phase gate process while maintaining creativity, design control, traceability, predictability and quality. ► Spearheaded task force to replace divisional Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software system as part of a complete Quality Management System (QMS) upgrade. Collected VOC, identified candidates, and led team to a successful allocation request for the new system.

Selected accomplishments include:► Built a proteomics center of excellence that produced ProteinPilot, the breakthrough biomarker discovery, protein expression, and proteomics search engine► Built multidisciplinary software R&D development team (SWD/QA/TechWriting) that delivered award-winning products and intellectual property. Mentored them to broad recognition within both AB|Sciex R&D the greater Mass Spectrometry community.
