EQS provides product applications assistance to materials and manufacturing companies. We focus on helping companies make more cost-effective use of the steel or aluminum specified for each application. We perform technical analyses to determine if the forming process is sufficiently robust to use the grade of sheet metal that is being ordered, thereby minimizing scrap rate due to material properties, and maximizing uptime and productivity. Similarly, the analyses would determine if a more cost-effective grade of steel/aluminum is warranted. As part of this approach, we perform hands-on and computer forming simulation strain analyses that are typically required during the tooling buyoff process. Furthermore, we have relationships with several other companies to bring additional resources to the table as needed so that we can offer a spectrum of formability-related services.

4M Partners, LLC (4M) teaches design, technology, manufacturing, and business leadership to sheet metal forming professionals. 4M offers classroom training and is developing web-based instruction for experienced professionals, new employees, managers, and engineering students.

The NADDRG is a volunteer organization where the only requirement is participation. NADDRG promotes interaction in the metal formability community.
