Assists the director with conducting the daily responsibilities of center operations in accordance with guidelines established by Bright Horizons and NYC regulations. Assumes director responsibilities in the director’s absence. Incorporates company mission, culture, goals, values, philosophies and policies into day to day work to create and maintain an inclusive environment and positive relationships with families, staff and clients. Leads and directs the work of others. Ensures teaching teams are complying with health and safety practices, company policies and licensing regulations. Assists director in overseeing operational performance, including enrollment, marketing, tuition billing, and accounts payable. Demonstrates sound judgment in unusual or crisis situations.

Responsible for enrollment across all programs. Work as the dedicated registrar, maintaining financial arrangements for tuition payments. Maintain all staff and student registrations and records per the DOHMH, DOE, and OCFS regulations. Enter and maintain fiscal records.

Worked with administrators and staff to create governing documents that outline requirements for grant proposals and the selection process. Coordinated a team of students who facilitated the decision process in allocating $50,000 in grants. Tracked budgets for advertising and other operational needs and reporting weekly on the progress made.

Coordinated a classroom focused towards students entering their first year at college. Served as a mentor by suggesting events and involvement for the students. This class was also focused heavily on Global Climate Change topics and was funded with grant money by the National Science Foundation.

Provided administrative assistance for the course IME 1500 - Introduction to Manufacturing Engineering, and directly assisted professor Fred Sitkins. Demonstrated the ability to use initiative when problem-solving and fulfilled ad hoc administrative duties.

Coordinated and oversaw career fairs and employer information sessions. Determined, created and tracked budgets, produced advertising and action plans. Provided career related programming, outreach, and support to students as well as assisted in administrative tasks to the College.

Served as a mentor for student facilitators as well as a provided assistance to faculty facilitators. Organized events by developing relationships with local businesses to receive updates and follow-ups about their experiences working with our students.
