Since May 2016 I’m working for atHome as LAN and Desk support.There are 3 essential parts in my job:The first one is management of our internal network, daily using Windows 2008 server with several basics roles like Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, DFS, it’s backup up solution to an AWS server, the AVG antivirus console, and his redundancy. I manage a NAS storage system too, used for shared folders, a FOG server, I also have to do patching and to take care of the good health of the… Show more Since May 2016 I’m working for atHome as LAN and Desk support.There are 3 essential parts in my job:The first one is management of our internal network, daily using Windows 2008 server with several basics roles like Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, DFS, it’s backup up solution to an AWS server, the AVG antivirus console, and his redundancy. I manage a NAS storage system too, used for shared folders, a FOG server, I also have to do patching and to take care of the good health of the technical environment (inverters, telephony server, Cisco was, Wifi infrastructure...) in case of failure to find the best way to ensure business continuity.The second one is to provide end users the best service possible. By the way I have to be reactive when trouble happens, solve it as quick as possible and explain it to the users, in face to face or remotely. I take care of laptop preparation for newcomers and the replacement of old ones for the actual staff using a FOG server and scripts. I ensure the smartphone (Iphone) and Ipad deployement via AirWatch. The last part of my job is to manage the related budget and find adapted prices and solutions to renew and modernize our network, contacting providers, tracking orders, and reporting all expense to our financial service.
