Over the years I have been gained experience with many rig systems on several different Modu’s including: drilling control systems (Top Drive, Mud Pumps, Draw Works controls), anchor winch control systems, ballast control systems, tank gauging, bulk transfer systems, ups systems, emergency shutdown systems, black start systems, fire and gas detection systems, power generation controls (incl. electronic governors and AVR’s, SCR DC Drives, VFD Drives, and other automation related applications and equipment. I am skilled in PLC programming, industrial and IT networking, operator interface configuration (HMI’s and MMI’s), general fault finding and commissioning of electrical/electronic systems, and the complete survey/quotation/design/build/commission cycle of the afore-mentioned systems.
